Skyline Series · Heavy-Duty · 41 Feet · 160-6M · No Radials · Made in USA
The Skyline 41 HD: The Tallest Greyline We Build.
The 32' HD with the 9' DX Whip on top: 41 feet of HF vertical, every band 160 through 6 from a single feedpoint, no radials, on an oversized heavy-duty base. Built for operators chasing 40, 80 and 160, on open ground with room to stand tall.
About 78 MPH at 41 Feet · Check Your Local Code First
Our engineering model puts the Skyline 41 HD at about 78 mph with the whip on. That is below the design wind speed required in much of the United States, so before you order, look up your site's design wind speed (the ATC Hazards by Location map shows it) or call us. A PE-stamped site letter is available, billed per project. Pair it with the 3" HD Tilt-Up Base and walk it down ahead of high wind. The figure is a preliminary engineering estimate; the PE-certified rating will be published here when complete.
Why the Height Pays
Height is aperture. On 40, 80 and 160, where every backyard vertical is electrically short, 41 feet of radiator puts much more antenna in the air. Every band still works, 160 through 6, from one feedpoint.
