The Navigator-11: Marine HF-VHF Emergency Antenna
Redundant. Resonant. Rugged.
In the maritime environment, communication is safety. But fiberglass antennas snap, and automatic tuners fail in salt-saturated air. The Navigator-11 is the ultimate fail-safe for the serious mariner—an 11.5-foot aircraft-grade aluminum vertical that provides high-gain VHF and high-seas HF communication without the need for complex electronics.
Crafted from 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum, the Navigator-11 is designed to be stowed at 3 feet and deployed in seconds to provide a rock-solid signal when your primary systems go down.
The Navigator Edge:
-
Dual-Service Utility: One whip handles it all. Set it to 44.5" for a 5/8 wave high-gain VHF signal (outperforming standard 3' whips), or extend it fully for Marine HF ship-to-shore frequencies.
-
Tuner-Free HF Comms: Most marine HF rigs rely on an ATU (Antenna Tuner). The Navigator-11 allows you to bypass the tuner in an emergency. Slide to the desired frequency for the 22MHz High-Seas band to achieve native resonance.
-
Saltwater-Ready Conductivity: Stainless steel is a poor conductor compared to our 6061-T6 Aluminum. Our T-6 tempered alloy offers superior RF radiation and the structural rigidity to withstand offshore wind loads.
