Winter-Ready Owner Kit
Everything an owner reaches for at the fall check, in one box: fresh marine-grade hardware for every joint, a spare pair of insulators for the shelf, and spacers for the ladder line. One afternoon at the pole and your Greyline goes into winter ready.
In the box
316 marine stainless hardware kit, 60 screws, fits every 12' to 28' Greyline. The grade for salt air, coastal humidity and freeze-thaw.
Replacement insulator pair for 12' to 28' DX Flagpoles and DX Verticals.
Two ladder line spacer 3-packs, to keep the feedline centered and quiet in the wind.
Bought separately, $174. The kit is $159.
The Fall Check, in Order
1. Fresh hardware, one joint at a time. Start every screw by hand before tightening any, so the joint seats square, then snug them all. Noalox on aluminum mating surfaces only, never on threads, and no thread locker into the helicoils at the fiberglass.
2. Look over the insulators. Wipe them clean and check that every screw seats firmly. Keep the spare pair on the shelf for the day you need it.
3. Dress the feedline. Ladder line on its spacers, off the ground and away from metal; ferrites tight against the connector.
4. Plan for storms. Lower the flag when weather threatens. With a Tilt-Up Base, one person brings the whole antenna to waist height before a big storm and back up after.
