HOA Stealth Flagpole Antenna · 160–6M · No Radials · Made in USA
The 12' DXF — Compact Footprint. Full-Band Confidence.
Engineered for the tightest HOA lots and most demanding height restrictions, the DXF12 delivers genuine 160–6M multiband performance from a 12-foot stealth flagpole. The Vertical Dipole Antenna (VDA) design returns current through the lower element — not through soil — significantly reducing ground coupling and removing the need for buried radials entirely. Your neighbors see a flagpole. You hear the world.

The Physics
Why No Radials — and Why It Works
Traditional quarter-wave verticals feed at the current maximum at the base, driving maximum I²R loss directly through soil. Every ohm of ground resistance sits in series with your radiation resistance — stealing signal before it ever leaves the yard.
The Greyline VDA is a vertical dipole. Return current flows through the lower element of the antenna itself — not through the earth. This design significantly reduces ground coupling, removing your performance's dependency on a soil-based return path entirely. Proper current distribution also raises radiation resistance, improving efficiency without a single buried wire.

Structural Engineering
Built for Real Weather
The DXF12 is engineered to ASCE 7-10 structural standards. Federal practice calls for lowering the flag when weather threatens. The flag-down rating is your engineering number.
| Model | Flag Down | Flag Up | Standard |
|---|---|---|---|
| DXF12 | 155 MPH | 100 MPH | ASCE 7-10 |
| DXF16 | 115 MPH | 75 MPH | ASCE 7-10 |
| DXF20 | 90 MPH | 60 MPH | ASCE 7-10 |
| DXF24 | 70 MPH | 50 MPH | ASCE 7-10 |
| DXF28 | 55 MPH | 35 MPH | ASCE 7-10 |
Ratings per ASCE 7-10. Lower flag during approaching weather per US federal flag protocol.
