Collection: Remote Antenna Tuner | ATU | Automatic Antenna Tuners | Autotuner

Yes, the Greyline HF Vertical Antenna & the HOA Flagpole Antenna both require an ATU whether it's a Remote Tuner at the base of the antenna or a tabletop Tuner in your shack. Both methods are popular with Amateur and Professional industries alike.  An ATU is required as most transceivers internal auto tuner will not handle the required load for all bands (some bands, sure) with this design of RF Antenna, thus offering reliable, robust, and secure HF communications.

Listed here are a collection of Remote Antenna Tuners that pair well with our Greyline Antennas.

There are other ATUs on the market that will work great too. Consider the impedance range of the listed ATUs as a guide to determine the likelihood an ATU not listed here will do the job. Chances are, it will work just fine.

Again, the tested tuners listed below serve 1:1 SWR resonance across the entire RF spectrum, all frequencies from 160-6M. We find Military & Government agencies, Emcomm, NGOs & Professional industries, CB, and Ham Radio ops implement either method of shack ATU or base of the antenna for mission success.

Pro Tip: We've heard repeatedly that MFJ tuners do tune up to 6M even though they are listed 160-10M.

Build the antenna, plug in the coax, tune-up, and work the bands. Ham Radio is fun again, pass it on... Have questions, call or write: 435-200-4902
