HD Series · Heavy-Duty · 24 Feet · Flies the Flag · 160-6M · No Radials · Made in USA
The 24' HD DX Flagpole: Built for Wind, Sized for the Height Limit, Built to Grow.
A genuine residential flagpole on an oversized heavy-duty base, and every band 160 through 6 from a single feedpoint, with no radials. The 24' HD is the 28' HD with one section fewer: the strength of the heavy-duty base where many HOAs draw the line on height. For coastlines, hurricane country, ridgelines and open ground.
Two Reasons People Choose HD
Wind today. About 107 mph with the flag lowered (preliminary engineering estimate; PE-certified ratings, flag flying and lowered, to follow), against 70 for the standard 24-foot pole.
Height tomorrow. The heavy-duty base is a platform. When the board allows more, add a section and it is a 28' HD; add the 9' whip and it is a Skyline 33 HD. Add below the feedpoint, 4 feet, 8 feet and more, and you raise the feedpoint and lift the image, the other half of a vertical's RF picture, with a longer ladder line to match. Buy the base once; grow the antenna for years. Ships in 1-2 weeks, free to the USA and Canada.

Every Band, From One Feedpoint
Every Greyline works every band, 160 through 6. At 24 feet the antenna also runs ahead of a full-radial quarter-wave on several bands in NEC modeling over average ground, strongest on 12 and 10 meters, with real gain on 30, 20, 17 and 15. The Greyline is a vertical dipole: return current flows through the lower element, not a buried radial field, so frozen ground, rock and sand don't matter.
A Flagpole First, to Every Neighbor
Flag kit included: halyard, truck and cleat. To the street it is a handsome flagpole. Our free HOA letter writes the board request in two minutes, fitted to your state.
Walk It Down Before the Storm
Pair it with the 3" HD Tilt-Up Base, built alongside the antenna. When the forecast turns, lower the flag and walk the pole down, one person, no ladder; every height change happens at waist level too. $25 off with the HD in the cart. Bart, N1BRL, down and back up in two minutes →
