Gov & Agency HF Antennas — No Radials | Greyline Performance

Agency & Government

HF Antenna Infrastructure for Government, Research & Emergency Operations

Greyline VDA systems are in active service with government and diplomatic facilities, research institutions, state emergency operations centers, and defense contractors. No radials — deployable on rooftop, concrete, asphalt, or frozen soil. ALE and digital-mode ready. Made in USA, Sun Valley, Idaho.

On customer identification: we do not name agencies, institutions, or installations. Not in marketing, not in case studies, not on request. Operators who require a discrete profile in the field deserve the same discretion from their vendor.

Who We Work With

Federal & Diplomatic

Government and diplomatic facilities, federal EOCs, and installations requiring permanent or deployable HF infrastructure with a discrete visual profile. Custom configurations available.

Defense & Contractors

Defense contractors, integrators, and program offices requiring COTS HF antenna systems. Section 889 compliant, 100% domestic manufacture.

Research Institutions

Universities, field stations, and research programs running HF where there is no infrastructure to build on. The no-radial design deploys on rock, permafrost, sand, or a rooftop — sites where a conventional ground system is not merely difficult but impossible.

Emergency Management

State and county EOCs, municipal emergency managers, and EmComm infrastructure programs requiring reliable HF without ground system dependency.

Peer Validation — Defense Antenna Executive

"I ran a defense antenna company for 7 years. I am very impressed with the look, quality, machining, and part fit. It is a professional-grade product, and I recommend it to others."

System Capabilities

Technical Specifications

Frequency Coverage

1.5-54 MHz (160-6M) from a single feedpoint. No switching, no band-specific antennas.

Power Handling

Full legal limit at 100% duty cycle at the radiator. No traps or coils to fail under sustained digital or ALE operation. System power is constrained by the selected ATU rating.

Deployment Surface

Rooftop, concrete, asphalt, frozen soil, rocky terrain. No radial field required. Performance independent of ground conductivity.

Construction

Heavy-wall 6061-T6 aluminum, 316 marine-grade stainless hardware. ASCE 7-10 engineered. 7-year structural guarantee. Made in USA.

Wind Load Rating

ASCE 7-10 engineered. 35 to 155 MPH depending on model, height, and configuration. Ratings by model available on request.

Modes

ALE, STANAG 4538, JS-001, MIL-STD-188-141B compatible. FT8, JS8Call, Winlink, VARA, voice, CW.

Low Visibility Profile

The DXF flagpole configuration presents as a standard commercial-grade institutional flagpole. The antenna function is entirely internal — no visible stubs, loading coils, or external antenna evidence. Appropriate for installations where a discrete RF profile is operationally or aesthetically required. Flies a full-size flag.
