Earl’s Epic Waterfront HF Vertical in Florida | The 16' Greyline Flagpole Antenna
Customer Review: K4UFB
Earl's Waterfront Flagpole Antenna in Florida!
Look at Earl's beautiful Greyline Flagpole Antenna installation. This water-shot has Real DX angles too! The 4' extension will add more dB's and distance to his already enhanced salt-water signals on all bands. Earl is a VERY lucky radio-op!
"As soon I got on the air with my 20’ flagpole antenna I got great results. I love chasing DX and never expected the antenna to exceed my expectations as it has."
Earl is certainly tackling the salty breeze and radio waves too, like a champ! Nestled by the water, this lucky amateur radio op is raking in DX Adventures with ease, proving that a Greyline Performance antenna can turn a scenic view into a global radio outpost. Perfect for saltwater challenges, Earl’s install is a must-see for any radio buff dreaming of big signals.
Let's all look for Earl on the bands. We know he will be LOUD!

FUN FACT: *Did you know?
Earls desire to add 4 feet to his 16-footer is a smart move as it will increase his dB gain significantly on several ham bands - with a peak dB gain on 10m of 3.24 dBi of gain! Yes, really. As we add length to a 1/4 wave (up to 5/8 wave) we increase the aperture, which increases the gain. He'll experience real dBi gain from 20-10M. Let's call this "The Greyline Effect." A bonus for Earl.
How do we know? We read the Book, by Bob Zavrel, W7SX called "Antenna Physics." The ARRL has them in stock.
Here's a little proof... Just searched K4UFB on the RBN (reverse beacon network) and this is his signal on 30m within the past week on CW. Very cool, Earl.
