Collection: RF Chokes - 1:1 Current Baluns for HF | Greyline
Feedline System · Common-Mode Control
Stop Common-Mode Noise. Keep the Pattern Clean.
If your receive is noisier than it should be, or the shack lights up when you key down, the leak is usually the outside of the coax shield. A 1:1 current choke stops it. For most Greyline stations: one at the feedpoint, one where the feedline enters the shack. Mini for stations up to 500 watts, Maxi for amplifiers and long runs, ladder-line versions to connect straight to the antenna's pigtail, and slip-on beads for extra choking anywhere on the run.
