Size: 7/8 inch cable, approximately 1.1 inch outer diameter with the jacket. Corrugated solid copper outer conductor, foam dielectric, jacket rated for direct burial. Under 0.25 dB per 100 feet at HF. Minimum bend radius about 10 inches.
We run the full hardline ladder: 1/2 inch, 7/8 inch, and 1-5/8 inch trunk line, with larger available on request. Only 7/8 inch is stocked in set lengths; every other size and every length past 100 feet is cut to order and quoted — 150 feet, 250, 500, a thousand. The physics, plainly: at HF you will not hear the difference between this and good LMR — the loss numbers are all small down here. What hardline buys is permanence. Solid copper does not degrade like braid. This is the line you trench once. A Times N-to-UHF jumper for the radio end is available; ask when ordering.
