Why the Whip Pays
Height is aperture. On 40, 80 and 160, nine more feet adds radiator exactly where it counts. In NEC modeling over average ground, a 33-foot Greyline is strongest on 17 meters, about +3.5 dBi at the best DX angle, and every band still works.
